ESSENTIAL SYNERGY MASSAGE FREE
However, when it comes to your health and wellness, there are some amazing free ways to fit in some YOU time into the mundane times of your daily routine!! Yes, it is hard to get everything done in the day that you need to and want to do. BUT, YouTube has some great Yoga and Meditation Channels that are FREE and require no drive time at all! Yoga with Adriene is my go to! The time is never enough for us to get in the car, go to the gym, work out, come home. We have to listen out for the timer on the oven or the washer/dryer, kids to get home from school, etc. Laughter is healing).Īnother thing that our daily chores require us to do is WAIT. Some of my favorite podcasts include: “With Love, Danielle,” “ Tara Brach,” “RISE Podcast,” “Shakti Hour with Melanie Mosier,” and “My Favorite Murder” (because I’m a True Crime fan and the hosts are HILARIOUS. This is time that you can’t really read a book or work out because you need your hands to do other things, but your mind is free to enjoy a good podcast. You don’t need to focus on what you’re doing with so much intensity that listening to a motivational or informative talk would deter you from your task. This is when podcasts can come into play.

These are things that require more time than brainpower, but have to be done regularly. Cooking, laundry, cleaning, driving to work. There are things that you do each day that you are required to do that are seeming tedious and mundane. I’m guilty of it, too! But, I have found that technology and multitasking CAN actually allow you to make time for self development within your daily routine. However, I feel that we put self development and self care on the back burner because we simply do not have the time. Generally, I am not a fan of multitasking because I feel that the brain was not designed to do that as focusing on too many things causes the brain undue stress and makes tasks take longer than they initially would leaving you more stressed and with less time overall despite the expectation in the modern world to be able to “effectively” do so. Time has become a premium commodity as the list of things we are expected to do as a society has become greater and greater.

The list of the things that you need to do to de-stress is enough to give you STRESS! You’re trying to excel in your career, maintain solid and healthy relationships with friends and family, eat well, read more, practice meditation and yoga regularly, have healthy hobbies… the list goes on and on and on. Sometimes it can feel like you’re drowning.
